Young Turk Ventures is an internet-focused investment firm led by Cem Sertoglu.  Our investment idea is based on investing in proven business models in emerging markets (especially Turkey), and in innovative technologies and business models in proven markets.

We believe in Turkey, as a geography, will be going through a period of rapid commercialization of the connected economy. With a strong installed base of enthusiastic and engaged users of both the internet and mobile technologies, the Turkish market has lagged in the transition of economic activity online.  Our Turkish investments focus on this opportunity.

We are stage agnostic in our investments as we believe there is value to be created at every phase of a company's evolution.  If we feel there is a way we can play a role in this value creation, whether it's through capital leverage, strategic input or executional support, we will look for a way to collaborate with a business.
